Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator - Department Based in a full-time dual role. The Educator half focuses on ongoing staff development and education, while the RN half supports unit staffing and direct patient care.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing Professional Development, advances clinical practice, mentors nursing staff, and collaborates with unit managers to ensure safe, high-quality care and professional growth across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Illinois nursing license; specialty certification within one year of role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and act as a clinical resource.
• Mentor and role-model for staff and preceptors.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Manager to assess education needs.
• Support unit safety, quality outcomes, and patient experience.
• Organize on-unit in-services for new products and policies.
• Facilitate onboarding and career development of staff.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
