Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator – Department Based to lead staff development and education across the 4 South Searle unit. The RN portion supports staffing needs with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires a licensed Illinois RN with 5+ years of clinical experience, strong teaching skills, and proficiency in EMR and Workday. A hybrid education/clinical schedule may apply based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or a Diploma in Nursing with a Bachelor’s in Health-Related Field.
• Masters in Nursing preferred.
• Current Professional Nursing Licensure in Illinois.
• Current nursing specialty certification; if none, certification within one year of role.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS or NRP as applicable to role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as needed and act as a clinical resource for staff.
• Facilitate just-in-time education and mentoring for nurses on the unit.
• Precept and supervise new hires and experienced staff.
• Lead onboarding and unit-based education initiatives.
• Support unit safety, quality outcomes, and patient experience goals.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Manager on education and performance needs.
