Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to support ongoing staff development in the Emergency Department and to participate in direct patient care as needed.

The role combines department-based education with unit staffing support, reporting to the Director of Nursing Professional Development. Requires nursing licensure, 5+ years clinical experience, and strong education/mentoring skills. A hybrid of education and clinical duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and Illinois RN licensure.
• Current or pending specialty certifications as applicable.
• Experience in clinical staff education or academic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Act as a clinical resource and educator for staff.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing education for nurses and techs.
• Partner with unit leadership to assess education needs and quality outcomes.
• Drive competency development and professional growth across the ED.
