Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL, seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator – Department Based in a 0.5 FTE educator and 0.5 FTE RN role in the CVICU. The educator focuses on staff development, mentoring, and bedside education, while the RN role supports unit staffing during shifts.

The position requires a BSN (or diploma plus BS in a health-related field), IL RN licensure, and at least five years of clinical experience. Flexible scheduling and competency in EMR and Workday are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required or Diploma in Nursing with a Bachelor's in a Health-Related Field; MSN preferred.
• Certification: IL RN licensure; active specialty certification or within one year of role.
• Experience: at least five years of clinical experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: adult learning, communication, flexibility, teamwork, presentation and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Act as clinical resource and mentor in the clinical environment.
• Schedule-variability to support education across day/evening shifts.
• Serve as role model and mentor for staff.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Manager to assess education and performance needs.
• Support unit safety, quality outcomes, and patient experience.
