Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator – Department Based to lead nursing education and mentorship on 5N, while also supporting unit staffing as an RN. This full-time role requires strong clinical background and dedication to continuous staff development.

The position includes direct patient care, collaboration with the Nurse Manager, and coordinating unit education initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required; Masters preferred.
• Current Illinois nursing licensure; specialty certs or cert within 1 year of role.
• At least five years of clinical experience in a medical center or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Act as clinical mentor and role model for staff.
• Lead unit-based education and competency development.
• Onboard and orient new hires; support ongoing staff development.
• Organize in-services and educational activities; collaborate with unit leadership.
