Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees unit operations during their shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with management to ensure standards are met.
- Support a teamwork environment, promote a patient-first philosophy, and engage in service recovery when needed.
- Participate in staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Manage staff scheduling, supplies, and inventory to meet patient care needs.
- Act as a resource for staff, model organizational values, and support clinical outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
