Job summary

NSPC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced clinical office. You will greet patients, prepare them for care, and relay information between the Providers and patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout visits.

Daily duties include chart documentation, vital signs, medication reviews, and assistance with procedures. A strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA, plus proficiency with EMR and scheduling systems, is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting areas and exam/procedure rooms.
• Prepare patients for care, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Communicate patient needs between Providers and patients.
• Document patient charts: vitals, meds, allergies, orders.
• Maintain exam and procedure rooms and clean/dispose of supplies.
• Assist with follow-up calls and education upon discharge.
• Uphold HIPAA and OSHA policies and infection control.
