Job summary

NSPC External seeks a diligent Medical Assistant to support clinic operations. You will greet patients, prepare them for care, and assist Providers with procedures while maintaining sterile technique.

Under the guidance of the Center Manager and Providers, you will manage patient flow, document vitals and orders, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Experience in clinical setting or medical office a plus.
• Ability to take vital signs and record accurately.
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in waiting areas and exam rooms, preparing them for care.
• Assists with procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Manages daily patient flow and serves as liaison between providers and patients.
• Documents patient charts: vitals, meds, tests, and orders.
• Follows infection control protocols and HIPAA privacy rules.
