Job summary

Qualifications

• Work Experience: None required.
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist.
• Current license or temporary license as a CLS-Generalist or CLS-Specialist.
• Must meet CLIA and CAP requirements for testing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized laboratory testing independently within established time frames.
• Performs quality control and instrument maintenance/troubleshooting with documentation.
• Escalates when results are out of control and documents corrective action.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and regulatory standards (CLIA/CAP).
• Includes phlebotomy procedures as appropriate and data management.
