Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related field, transcript provided.
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license in the practicing state or within 180 days of hire.
• ASCP, AMT or AAB generalist certification required within 90 days of hire, otherwise designated exceptions apply.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized laboratory testing accurately within set timeframes.
• Develops and records quality control and instrument maintenance/troubleshooting activities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and proficiency testing protocols.
• Participates in performance improvement and inventory management.
• Communicates results clearly to the care team while respecting patient privacy.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to applicable policies.
