Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related science, state licensure, and ASCP/AMT/AAB certification, with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical lab environment across our facilities in New Orleans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related science is required.
• Current license in the state of practice (if applicable).
• ASCP, AMT or AAB certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare specimens according to standard protocols.
• Perform laboratory tests and calculations for diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct quality control and monitor test performance; calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Perform phlebotomy as appropriate and ensure patient data confidentiality.
