Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Technology or related program.
• MLT certification: AMT or ASCP within 1 year of employment.
• Strong understanding of quality control and instrument maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests following established procedures.
• Manage day-to-day operations of laboratory instrumentation and workflow.
• Participate in quality assurance and corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate results to healthcare providers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with pre-analytical specimen handling and storage guidelines.
• Contribute to CQI activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
