Job summary

Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform clinical testing and instrument maintenance on rotating shifts. You will contribute to accurate test results, workflow efficiency, and quality control across the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Required education: MLT or related degree with transcripts.
• Certification eligible within 1 year via AMT or ASCP.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests following approved procedures.
• Manage instrument operations, quality control, calibration, and reagents.
• Communicate results to departments and care providers in a timely manner.
• Support CQI activities and follow safety regulations.
