Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician–HLT III to join the clinical phlebotomy team. You will perform specimen procurement, phlebotomy, and processing of blood components, adhering to CAP/TJC/OSHA standards under the supervision of Clinical Supervisor 2.

The role requires a California Phlebotomy License (Certified Phlebotomy Tech I) and at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• California Phlebotomy License (Certified Phlebotomy Tech I) required.
• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Willingness to cover weekends/holidays on a rotating basis.
• Familiarity with CAP, TJC, OSHA standards.

• Perform specimen procurement and phlebotomy.
