Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical lab technology.
• MLS certification (ASCP or AMT) required.

• CLIA compliance knowledge or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies, PPE use, and hazardous waste handling.
• Participates in laboratory performance improvement activities.
• Evaluates new techniques and assists with data collection.
• Maintains equipment and spaces through cleaning and disinfection.
• Performs pre-analytical activities including specimen collection and processing.
• Conducts post-analytical activities and reports results.
• Completes tests according to SOPs and participates in proficiency testing.
