Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens and report results in all areas of the clinical laboratory (blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology).
• Perform high‑complexity testing.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records for statistics and billing.
• Notify patient care unit and/or physician of critical lab values.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Laboratory, Pathologist and staff to improve patient care.
• Follow standard precautions and ensure patient safety.
