Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biology or Chemistry required.
• CLIA High Complexity Testing competency required.
• State licensure and/or certification where applicable.
• CLS Levels III and IV: minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience.
• Advanced proficiency with complex equipment and reagent maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine high complexity testing of biological specimens in compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Maintains accurate records; ensures donor, patient, and employee confidentiality.
• Communicates with customers, vendors, and couriers to ensure quality service.
• Maintains equipment; performs preventive maintenance and trouble-shoots issues as needed.
• Trains and mentors newer staff; participates in performance improvement programs.
