Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to process specimens and perform high/moderate complexity testing under supervision. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain quality control, and report accurate results to support patient care within a busy lab environment.

Responsibilities include specimen accessioning, proficiency testing participation, equipment operation, inventory management and training assistance.

Qualifications

• CLIA High Complexity eligibility outlined with one of several degrees or licenses.
• One year healthcare or lab experience preferred.
• ASCP, AMT or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specimen processing and accessioning per guidelines.
• Perform high/moderate complexity testing following SOPs.
• Report results and correlate with diagnoses as applicable.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Document QC, calibrations and maintenance records.
• Assist with training and safety/compliance in the lab.
