Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration is seeking a Laboratory Leader to oversee daily operations, staff coaching, and performance improvement initiatives in a full-time, day-shift role. You will supervise lab activities, ensure safety, and drive quality across pre- and post-analytical processes.

The role requires 2+ years in a clinical lab and 1+ year in leadership, with 3+ years of technical experience preferred. Schedule: Mon-Fri with rotating weekends, 12pm-8:30pm.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership/management experience (Preferred).
• 2+ years of related laboratory experience (Required).
• 3+ years of technical experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement activities, resolves customer service issues, evaluates new equipment and procedures, and monitors staff performance.
• Assists department leadership with staffing, interviewing, orientation, training, coaching, mentoring, and competency assessment.
• Coordinates and facilitates the clinical experience of students in affiliated education programs.
• Performs and oversees pre-analytical laboratory activities, including equipment maintenance, inventory control, specimen collection, processing, and cleaning.
