Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Lab Diagnostic Sales Specialist role focuses on managing the sales process for capital equipment in clinical laboratories, including lead generation and financial modeling. You will collaborate with manufacturers to close system sales across chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics within your region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Sales experience in the Laboratory industry, selling capital equipment to hospitals and reference labs.
• Functional understanding of Laboratory workflow and processes.
• Experience in complex sales environments with demonstrated success.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sales process for capital equipment in clinical laboratories within assigned region.
• Lead generation, financial modeling, and collaboration with manufacturer partners to close system sales.
• Develop plans to introduce new solutions and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Deliver tailored presentations and conduct demonstrations and site visits.
• Negotiate with customers and partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Maintain SFDC records, market feedback, and participate in sales meetings and training.
