Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a customer-focused laboratory support professional in Cincinnati to serve as the primary liaison between clients and the laboratory. You will assist with test orders and results, monitor orders for issues, document all interactions, and collaborate with lab staff to ensure timely delivery of results

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of formal phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a phlebotomist or health care background.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls, emails, and inquiries from clients about lab services and results.
• Provide accurate information about tests, specimen collection, and turnaround times.
• Resolve client issues or escalate to appropriate departments with follow‑up.
• Monitor test orders for errors or delays and take corrective actions.
• Handle confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA and protocols.
• Document all client interactions in the customer service system timely.
• Coordinate with lab personnel, couriers, and logistics for sample collection and delivery.
• Assist in preparing monthly quality reports.
