The West Valley Post Acute facility is seeking a cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. The role requires following menus, portion controls and maintaining a sanitary, well-organized kitchen.

Responsibilities include preparing special diets, recording food temperatures, presenting meals attractively and assisting with serving, while supporting dietary staff and reporting concerns to the Administrator.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year minimum as a hospital/long-term care cook.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, or schedule instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals following menus and portion controls.
• Prepare special diets accurately.
• Record food temperatures.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleaning schedules.
