Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an IT professional to support a large fleet of mobile devices used in patient care. You will manage device policies with Microsoft Intune, support Epic Rover devices, and collaborate with Networking, Telecom, and security teams to ensure compliant, reliable service.

Responsibilities include on-call rotation, handling complex issues, and maintaining documentation for mobile device standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field required, four years of related experience may substitute.
• Experience in healthcare IT environments is preferred and beneficial.
• Familiarity with mobile device management platforms and secure messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for a fleet of mobile devices used in patient care environments.
• Support devices used for Epic Rover and manage mobile device policies with Intune.
• Perform On Call duties and participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Networking, Telecom, Nurse Call, and Call Center teams.
• Document standards, procedures, and best practices for mobile device support.
