Job summary

UMC Health System seeks an IT Clinical System Analyst-Entry to design, build, test, implement, train, and support clinical information systems. The role includes testing, incident/ service request management, and on-call support to ensure system availability and performance.

You will collaborate with end users, physicians, and staff to analyze requirements, document processes, and support ongoing improvements across healthcare IT workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Applicable license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in comprehensive testing including documentation and workflow validation with super users.
• Communicate task status, risks, and milestones to team and management.
• Manage incoming Incident and Service Requests and escalate as needed.
• Work in on-call rotations to support clinical systems during downtimes.
• Assist in evaluating business processes and implementing improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
