Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking an IT Clinical Optimization Analyst I to facilitate, coordinate, and implement clinical systems in a healthcare setting.

You will work with end users to ensure effective utilization, assess workflows, and participate in onboarding and training. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and ability to work both independently and in a team, with potential after-hour support and cross-functional collaboration across IT and clinical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a health care field or equivalent experience required.
• Two years of clinical or clinical IT experience in a health care setting required.
• One year of experience with an EMR system required.
• Experience creating and implementing workflows in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the optimization of various clinical systems.
• Contributes to design, testing, and implementation of clinical applications.
• Develops/documents current and future workflows.
• Participates in after-hour call rotations.
• Troubleshoots, solves, and documents incidents using the hospital ticketing system.
• Consistently produces quality work product that is accurate, complete, and detailed.
• Prepares support documentation, test plans, basic specifications, and task plans.
• Provides support for basic or low complexity incidents, requests, and projects.
• Creates and/or helps provide training content for users.

• Builds rapport quickly, cultivates relationships, and relates to a diverse group of individuals.
• Communicates cross-functionally with other departments and documents findings.
