Tufts Medicine Care at Home seeks an experienced educator to develop, implement, and document staff orientation and ongoing education. You will enhance clinical competencies for licensed and non-licensed personnel and volunteers through orientations, in-service programs, and continuing education.

Responsibilities include assessing learner needs, creating individualized plans, and coordinating agency-wide education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or other clinical discipline.
• RN License or Physical Therapy License or Occupational Therapy License.
• Five years of experience as RN/PT/OT.
• One year of experience in clinical education.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and document orientation for all agency staff.
• Assess learner needs and tailor orientation content.
• Create individualized orientation plans for staff.
• Document orientation processes including skills and checklists.
• Arrange additional orientations to meet agency needs.
• Support staff transitions through ongoing instruction and counseling.
• Ensure adequate training of employees.
• Assist in annual professional competencies documentation.
• Review and evaluate the competency program for staff.
• Coordinate quarterly education and annual competencies for job groups.
• Collaborate with College Programs for student clinical placements.
• Coordinate staff and student placements and agency orientation.
• Stay current with staff development technology and training.
• Train staff in EMR products and computer use.
• Create educational videos and online content and competencies.
• Assess training needs from surveys and audits.
• Provide in-service programs based on identified needs.
• Oversee education in CMS, DPH regulatory areas.
• Develop programs in response to agency-wide needs.
