Job summary

Tufts Medicine Care at Home in Lowell, MA seeks an experienced educator to develop and deliver staff education and competency programs for licensed and non-licensed personnel, including orientation and ongoing in-services.

The role requires a clinical background (RN, PT, OT) with at least five years of practice and one year in clinical education; EPIC experience is a plus. Collaborate with HR and department managers to ensure effective orientation and competency development across the agency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline (Nursing, PT, OT) required.
• RN or PT/OT license required.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience as RN/PT/OT.
• At least one year in clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document orientation for agency staff.
• Assess learner needs and tailor orientation content.
• Create individualized orientation plans for staff.
• Maintain documentation of orientation and competency assessments.
• Coordinate annual professional competencies and ongoing education.
• Train staff on EMR products and computer use.
• Create online education content and videos.
• Collaborate with HR and managers on staff development initiatives.
• Support student placements and College Programs in home care.
• Stay current with staff development technologies.
