Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Hospital Educator to plan, develop, and coordinate in-service education for hospital staff. You will collaborate with leadership to assess educational needs, strategize plans, and implement certifications, rotations, and orientation programs.

The role emphasizes training delivery, policy contribution, and integration of new competencies and equipment, supporting regulatory standards and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license required.
• Education to obtain and maintain licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• RN with CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff completion of BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Manage equipment and skills stations for BLS/ACLS training.
• Assist in coordinating clinical rotations and student orientations.
• Train staff in new hire and general hospital orientation.
• Coordinate preceptor programs and staff training.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and state/federal regulations.
