Job summary

Essex Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead the education and development of both clinical and non-clinical staff. You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that ensure the team has the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver orientation, in-service, and continuing education for staff
• Ensure staff certifications and regulatory compliance are maintained
• Oversee onboarding process for new hires and provide guidance during transition
• Lead infection prevention and control program development and monitoring
• Mentor staff and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and gaps
• Maintain thorough records of trainings, certifications, and audits
