Rivers Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Prospect, KY is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to educate and develop our clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring the team has the knowledge and skills for exceptional resident care.

Lead training programs, maintain compliance, oversee onboarding, and drive infection control initiatives while collaborating with department heads to close skill gaps and maintain thorough training records.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN), Education, or related field required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• RN license preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in a clinical or educational role within healthcare, preferably long-term care.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Infection Control Certification preferred but not required.

• Training and Development: Create and facilitate training programs, including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education initiatives.
• Compliance Management: Ensure staff maintain required certifications and regulatory compliance.
• Onboarding Excellence: Oversee onboarding for new hires, providing education and support.
• Infection Control Leadership: Develop and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Supportive Leadership: Mentor staff and promote a culture of learning with hands-on training.
• Collaboration: Work with department heads to identify training needs and address skill gaps.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of training sessions, staff certifications, and audits.
