Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Current unrestricted RN license and BLS/CPR certifications.
• Minimum 2 years nursing or education coordination experience.
• Experience in correctional healthcare or regulated settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate nursing education and staff development programs.
• Manage orientation, competencies, and continuing education for clinical staff.
• Ensure training complies with policies, regulatory standards, and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and pharmacy to support education on medications.
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care with social services and facility staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of programs, competencies, and regulatory compliance.
• Promote infection control practices and use of PPE, participating in quality improvements.
