Job summary

Hebrew Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee staff training programs that elevate resident care. You will lead orientation, ongoing education, and regulatory alignment to ensure high standards of clinical practice and staff development.

You will mentor staff, maintain certification records, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across our nursing team, contributing to a supportive and growth-oriented work

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in staff education and development.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery.
• Inspirational leadership with a focus on innovation and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee training programs for staff.
• Develop orientation and ongoing training curricula.
• Assess training needs, develop curriculum, and implement educational strategies.
• Mentor, coach, and support staff to enhance skills and performance.
• Coordinate orientation of all new employees to ensure compliance.
• Maintain records of training activities and staff certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care.
