Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist (Medical Scribe) to support primary care providers with real-time documentation and coding accuracy. The role emphasizes accuracy in notes, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and after-visit summaries to enhance care quality at CVS Health clinics.

This position is based in our on-site clinics and offers full-time hours with benefits. Ideal candidates have strong medical terminology knowledge, prior clinical exposure, and comfort working with EHR

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Scribe or transcription experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient encounters in real time with structured notes.
• Support clinical documentation improvement using population health tools.
• Provide administrative support to the care team and PCPs.
