Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe (Clinical Informatics Specialist) to support primary care providers with real-time documentation, coding CPT/ICD-10, and after-visit summaries. You’ll participate in morning huddles, observe in the exam room, and help with care gaps through population health tools.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of medical terminology, prior clinical exposure, and strong listening and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience including shadowing/volunteering is preferred.
• Prior scribe or transcription experience is a plus but not required.

Aufgaben

• Document patient encounters in real time with structured notes (HPI, assessment, plan, exam).
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes accurately.
• Prepare after-visit summaries and coordinate with providers for documentation.
