Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to lead the practicum and internship fieldwork component of the MS-CMHC program. The role ensures alignment with CACREP standards and licensing requirements, coordinating with program leadership and faculty.

You will develop fieldwork partnerships, support students and site supervisors, evaluate placements, and oversee student progress throughout fieldwork. Collaboration with licensing boards and committees is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Licensed Professional Counselor licensure or equivalent independent state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CACREP accreditation contribution for fieldwork and ensure compliance.
• Develop the MS-CMHC curriculum and assessment plans with program leadership.
• Establish partnerships with local and regional fieldwork sites.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and sites.
• Support students, practicum instructors, and site supervisors; monitor progress.
• Serve on committees and contribute to program-wide initiatives.
