Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to oversee the practicum and internship fieldwork components of the MS-CMHC program, ensuring CACREP standards and licensing requirements are met. You will collaborate with program leadership to develop curriculum, assess outcomes, and maintain site partnerships.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision required.
• Minimum 5 years of higher education experience.
• CACREP accreditation experience preferred.
• Clinical supervision experience required.
• Current LPC/LCPC licensure or equivalent independent licensure per state.

Responsibilities

• Lead accreditation activities and ensure CACREP alignment for fieldwork.
• Develop curriculum and assessment plans in collaboration with program chair and faculty.
• Forge partnerships with local/regional agencies for student fieldwork sites.
• Create and maintain fieldwork agreements with sites.
• Support students, faculty, and site supervisors throughout fieldwork.
• Oversee student progress and manage academic processes in the MS-CMHC fieldwork component.
• Serve as liaison with state licensing boards.

Education

PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision

5 years of experience in higher education

Experience with CACREP accreditation

Experience in clinical supervision
