Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision is required.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent licensure in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial accreditation process with CACREP and ensure fieldwork aligns with CACREP requirements.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan with MS-CMHC Program Chair and faculty.
• Develop partnerships with local and regional agencies for fieldwork site placements.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and fieldwork sites.
• Complete components of the accreditation candidacy application related to fieldwork.
• Prepare program policies and disseminate the MS-CMHC Fieldwork Manual to students.
• Maintain curricular documents (catalog, manual, handbook, website, brochures).
• Provide training and ongoing communication to students, practicum and internship instructors, and site supervisors.
• Evaluate student fieldwork placements for alignment with program and accreditation requirements.
• Oversee student progress and academic processes in fieldwork components.
• Act as liaison with state licensing boards.
• Participate in school, college, and university committees.
