Job summary

Howard University is seeking a Clinical Account Rep I to act as the first point of contact for customers, providers, staff, and affiliated partners. You will handle incoming calls, collect demographics, and schedule appointments with attention to accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center environment and good typing skills.
• Experience with scheduling, registration, and call handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients and manage large amounts of inbound calls.
• Answer calls promptly in a polite, professional manner and follow scripts.
• Enter accurate demographic information into Allscripts and verify insurance details.
