Job summary

Truman Medical Center is seeking a Patient Scheduler for the Specialty Clinic Call Center. You will be the first friendly face for patients, handling scheduling, check-in, and accurate record-keeping to ensure a smooth visit.

You’ll manage clinic flow, respond to patient requests, explain benefits and billing basics, and maintain up-to-date information in the patient management system. 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year in customer service.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Technical: Proficient with computer hardware/software and patient management systems.
• Detail: Accurate record-keeping and data verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with scheduling, check-in, registration, check-out.
• Manage patient flow and scheduling efficiency.
• Enter demographic and financial information accurately into the system.
• Answer calls, respond to requests, and explain benefits and billing obligations.
• Maintain an effective clinic schedule and improve patient experience.
