Job summary

Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking an experienced operations administrator to oversee policies and procedures across scheduling, registration, billing and collections, ensuring compliance and efficiency within the WMMC Central Family Sports Medicine, Dermatology, & Sleep Center clinics.

The role includes coordinating staff schedules, supervising performance, managing communications with physicians and hospital departments, and supporting a smooth, patient-centered workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and support organizational goals.
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; knowledge of medical practice management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulations.
• Coordinate billing-related office processes with the Director of Patient Accounts.
• Plan and assign work schedules to optimize patient satisfaction and workflow.
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of medical and office supplies.
• Conduct staff meetings and participate in interviews and training.
• Maintain physician and mid-level provider schedules including call schedules.
