Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Clinic Supervisor to oversee the patient care team, front desk, records, and ancillary services in our primary care outpatient clinic in California. You will ensure smooth daily operations and act as a resource for staff, guiding them to deliver excellent patient care.

You will mentor team members, assist with budgeting and cost‑effective operations, monitor productivity, and promote a respectful, compliant work environment that supports providers and patients alike.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of outpatient clinic experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Budgeting process, management reports, accounting, purchasing and patient billing systems knowledge.
• Familiarity with computers and software including EMR, billing systems and word processing.
• Knowledge of HMO, PPO and capitated risk contracts as they relate to providers and practices.
• Visible, results‑oriented leadership with strong interpersonal relationships and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day flow of clinic operations and act as a resource for staff.
• Ensure the department delivers high‑quality patient care and satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, train, discipline and supervise staff including evaluations.
• Assist with budgeting and cost‑effective operations.
• Monitor productivity and efficiency of the department.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge to support patient care.
