Job summary

OptumCare is seeking an experienced clinic Operations Manager to organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Everett clinic, ensuring seamless patient flow and adherence to protocols. You will lead a team of PSR, opticians, and ophthalmic assistants, coordinating with physicians and managers to uphold quality care.

The role requires 2+ years in a clinical setting, BLS certification within 90 days, and solid Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current experience working in a clinical setting.
• American Heart Association BLS (within 90 days of hire)
• Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Works with all members of the department health care team ensuring smooth patient flow within department. Use Standard tools to monitor individual and departmental performance on key metrics
• Determines appropriate staffing mix and amount to meet routine and special patient needs and arranges staff coverage. Responsible for the day-to-day operations. Takes a leadership role in problem solving with employees and patients
• Directs work of staff, including supervision, hiring, and terminations; determines staffing needs, and ensure efficient utilization of staff. Monitors skill development and performance of the staff. Provide orientation for all new staff and coaches for high performance. Gives regular performance feedback and conducts performance appraisals
• Met regularly with practice manager and physicians. Performs other duties including approving/updating timecards as indicated by CPM, researching and resolving customer complaints
• Communicates information to all staff, manager, and physicians, as necessary
