Job summary

Northwest Eye Surgeons in Mount Vernon, WA, seeks a Clinic Manager to provide operational leadership for our ophthalmology clinic. You will supervise staff, handle hiring and training, manage schedules, and oversee front-office operations and billing documentation to ensure efficient patient care.

The role requires extensive EMR/EHR experience, strong communication, and a results-driven approach to improve quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or minimum 5 years medical group practice experience.
• At least 3 years supervisory or management experience in healthcare.
• Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Supervising clinic staff and ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees.
• Managing staff schedules, PTO requests, and emergency coverage to maintain smooth clinic operations.
• Leading training programs for technicians and students, including hands-on equipment instruction.
• Overseeing workflow, triage, and patient flow for maximum efficiency; addressing patient complaints.
