Job summary

Northwest Eye Surgeons - Mt Vernon is seeking a Clinic Manager to provide operational leadership for our Mount Vernon ophthalmology clinic. You will oversee staff, scheduling, and patient flow while ensuring policy compliance and excellent patient care.

You will drive training for technicians, manage EMR/EHR systems, and coordinate with physicians to maintain efficient, compliant clinic operations. A healthcare leadership background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or 5+ years in medical group practice.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for clinic operations and staff.
• Supervise staff, ensure policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Hire, onboard, and train employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage staff schedules, PTO, and coverage to maintain smooth operations.
• Develop training programs for technicians and students; hands-on instruction.
• Oversee front office operations including scheduling, referrals, and billing support.
• Maintain EMR/EHR systems, provide staff training and troubleshooting.
• Monitor patient flow and triage to maximize clinic efficiency.
• Address patient complaints and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee vendor relations, equipment upkeep, and facility contracts.
