Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years as certified medical assistant in a clinic setting.
• 2+ years of clinical lead or staff management experience.
• Knowledge of organization policies and procedures; proficient with MS Word/Excel.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to department staff, work independently and collaborate with Practice Manager on clinical issues.
• Assist in recruiting and retaining talented staff and ensure proper training, resource allocation and standards to monitor staff performance.
• Implement and maintain clinical and business policies and procedures.
• Ensure patient satisfaction within the clinic site and resolve patient issues.
• Ensure adherence to policies related to clinical compliance and safety training.

Education

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
