Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Clinic Coordinator (Lead) to act as a hands-on, working lead in daily clinic operations. The role includes front desk coverage and patient care tasks, rooming patients, and real-time support to keep clinic flow moving.

It emphasizes onboarding support, day-to-day coordination, and reinforcing expectations. The position is a key staff resource and liaison to clinic leadership, with a Monday–Friday, 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of clinic or healthcare experience preferred.
• Active clinical certification/credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and frontline support to clinical and front office staff during daily operations.
• Ensure exam rooms, equipment, and supplies are prepared and available.
• Step into operational roles to support clinic volume and staffing needs.
• Reinforce standardized workflows, processes, and expectations.
• Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and operational challenges.
• Serve as a go-to resource for staff questions during the workday.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff members.
• Promote a positive, patient-centered environment.
• Address patient concerns in real time.
• Support efforts to improve wait times and overall clinic experience.
• Liaise between frontline staff and clinic leadership.
• Escalate operational or staff concerns appropriately.
• Track metrics and assist with staffing coordination.
