The role involves supervising staff, coordinating activities, and serving as the liaison with patients, government agencies, and third party payers. HIPAA/OSHA compliance and EMR proficiency are essential to optimize workflows and financial performance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising office staff and coordinating daily operations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises physician office employees engaged in daily practice operations.
• Coordinates the daily operations of the physician practice site.
• Recruits, orients, counsels and evaluates a team of engaged employees to assure quality patient care.
• Liaises with patients, government agencies and third party payers as the on-site contact for each practice site.
• Ensures staff knowledge and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA policies and procedures.
• Leads quality initiatives and safety functions.
• Proficiently uses EMR and other computer applications to achieve optimum patient care efficiencies.
• Assists in monitoring practice site revenue generation and expense allocations.
