Job summary

HCA Midwest Health is seeking a Practice Coordinator for the Odessa Clinic to supervise clinic personnel and coordinate services. You will act as liaison among patients, providers, staff and administration while directing workflow and schedules.

The role requires knowledge of medical terminology, supervisory experience, and familiarity with government insurance programs. Strong communication and billing skills are essential to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or GED.
Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
Prior supervisor level or higher experience preferred.
General knowledge of government insurance programs (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, MC+).
Basic ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS knowledge.
Prior coding experience or exposure is a benefit.
Basic Life Support certification preferred.
Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
Typing and computer skills; familiarity with computerized billing systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise clinic staff and coordinate clinic services.
Direct and expedite clinic workflows; prepare schedules.
Act as liaison between patients, providers, staff and administration.
Monitor billing, accounts payable, and prepare required reports for hospital leadership.
Collaborate with VP of Operations and other clinic personnel to ensure quality patient care.
