Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Office Assistant for our outpatient clinic. This full-time role includes greeting patients, checking them in/out, answering calls, and coordinating reminders while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, with competitive base pay, productivity and performance bonuses, and benefits including health, vision, dental, 401K with 4% match, PTO and holidays. E-Verify participation is required.

Qualifications

• AA required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms; coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies in all administrative activities.
