Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking an Office Assistant Float for outpatient clinics. This full-time role supports South Florida offices with a West Palm Beach base and handles front desk tasks, patient check-in/out, calls, and basic office coordination.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean waiting areas, replenishing supplies, coordinating reminders and test results, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant administrative processes. Four 10-hour shifts Mon–Thu.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have at least an associate degree (AA).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Gives coverage in time of need to offices in South Florida with base location at West Palm Beach office.
• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Accepting inbound calls and making outbound calls to the patients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms, coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all administrative activities.

Education

Associate degree (AA)
